T‑Di Custom is an ideal tool for bass players, both in the studio and on stage. The combination of a tone‑shaping preamp, compressor, and DI box provides a complete solution that meets the needs of most bassists. It is a fully featured pedal containing everything essential for crafting your sound: a solid EQ section along with controls that let you shape the character and dynamics of your instrument.

The preamp features two sections — solid‑state and tube — which can be blended together. This allows you to achieve a wide range of tones, from highly dynamic and saturated, rich sounds to heavily compressed, as well as VINTAGE‑style voicings with a characteristic soft TUBE-overdrive

The CHARACTER option, activated via the footswitch, features two controls: GAIN/COMP and CHARACTER LEVEL. This section provides an additional tonal mode that can be engaged during performance using the footswitch. Depending on how the controls are set, you can achieve the following tonal variations:
> setting GAIN/COMP at 1–4 gives a clean volume boost with no tonal change.
> setting GAIN/COMP within the 4–6 range produces a compressed sound
> setting BALANCE toward TUBE and GAIN/COMP within the 5–8 range - gives you a TUBE OVERDRIVE sound
  
The preamp can be connected and used in different ways:
> As an additional sound module connected to the input of the amplifier
> As a preamp connected simultaneously to the amplifier and the mixer via the line-out jack / XLR
> Connected straight to the mixer as a main source of sound  without necessity to use a bass amp on stage

• LEVEL – volume level knob

• SOLID/TUBE - “Mix knob” between “Vintage” & “Modern”sound

• POWER SUPPLY VOLTAGE RANGE 9-12V/500mA:  any power supply with power rating between 9 and 12V can be used

• DC ASSISTANS - protects from loss of signal. Effect switches automatically to the "bypass mode" in case of disconnection or low voltage of DC supply. 

• DC CONVERTER: Built-in voltage converter which increases voltage of effect's  power supply to 24V. It guarantees very high sound's dynamic (headroom) and eliminates any problems related to active electronics installed in the guitar.

• SUBSONIC filter - built-in filter which cuts-off very low frequencies which have an adverse impact on the proper work of the speakers. Thanks to the filter, the unwanted frequencies and the accompanied components of the DC voltage are eliminated from the sound. Both components interfere with proper speaker operation by entering uncontrolled membrane fluttering when the low frequencies are applied.

• LINE OUTPUT - XLR balanced

• LINE OUT LEVEL - adjusts the signal level at the LINE OUT output. Allows proper balancing of the line‑level signal between BYPASS mode and the engaged preamp.
